One of the first beer shops/pubs offering a diverse selection of Czech and international craft beer, Pivní Rozmanistost’s new Žižkov location is the sort of hybrid bar/beer shop where staying for more than just a quick pint is all too easy. These are much improved digs compared to their last locations, so let’s hope they stay.

Stocked with all the Czech heavy hitters of the craft beer scene, Pivní Rozmanitost has four large fridges with beers from Nomád, Mastuška, Třebonice, and Clock, just to name a few new breweries. At the time of our visit, the small fridges were stocked with an impressive variety of German beers, including quite a few seasonal specials. One sturdy set of shelves houses domestic half liter bottles, as well as beers from the USA, England, and Belgium.

Four taps house a rotating selection of Czech’s best breweries and newcomers to the beer scene. Prices are good, in fact some of the best prices for craft beer from any of Prague’s beer shops. The stock continually rotates, with new arrivals daily. If you’re hungry, they only have simple pub snacks like peanuts and possibly a pickled cheese to ease your hunger.

This is a spacious shop, which includes an entrance way, full of fridges and a table or two for those who like to stand and drink, and a second area with 6 large tables and red leather chairs. The staff is friendly and quite knowledgable about their beer, and some staff speak English.

Take trams 9,1, or 11 to Vozovna Žižkov. The tram stop Biskupcova is also just around the corner.
