There are very few lagers in Prague that can compete with Pivovar Richter’s 12° světlý ležák. To start, the head on this lager has one of the most remarkable, thick, creamy foams, with a fresh aroma of hay and yeast. The body is a paler cloudy yellow, and the carbonation light. Overall, this lager has a sweeter, earthy taste, distinctly of apricots. Essential for good balance, there is a strong bitter undertone throughout, coming out most in the end, leaving a nice bite as you swallow. The texture is rich and velvety, making this one of the best lagers in Prague.
