Beginning with a rich reddish brown color and faint aroma of yeast and hops, this 11°, 4.5% polotmavy kvaseny ale (amber-yeast ale) brewed for Prvni Pivni Tramway by Pivovarsky Dum is an excellent and hard to find ale. Having a mildly sweeter, medium body with a hint of fruit, this ale has a distinct taste of roasted barley and caramel, which turns into a stronger, solid taste of dry hops at the end. This is a smooth beer, with a velvety, almost buttery texture, and is gently carbonated. If you’re lucky, this ale is sometimes on tap at Prvni Pivni Tramway, where you can also always buy it in bottles.
