Since we have wine festivals, burčak festivals, beer festivals, why not a hop festival? On August 16, starting at 11, the town of Petrov, Plže, which is close the Slovak border will host the 3rd annual Hop Festival. The entrance fee is either 30 or 50 czk, depending on when you arrive. 10 breweries will be there, with live music and of course lots of food. There website doesn’t give much info about which breweries will be there, yet.
