From August 26 to 27, 2011, Pilsner will host its annual Pilsner Fest. Each day, the brewery will be open for special tours and events, and quite a few popular Czech bands will be performing. Tours are available at the Pilsner and Gambrinus breweries on both Friday and Saturday, and tickets cost 50 czk each.

During the festival, they’ll be live band performing, football activities with the Czech football league, as well as lots of good food.

For a quick and easy way to the city of Pilsen, have a look at Student Agency buses or by train. Student Agency buses run from Zlicin (last stop on the yellow line) to Pilsen frequently, and only take an hour.
