Beer Point is a classy, cozy pub that serves a variety of fresh, high quality Czech beers in the center of Prague. Operated by the same folks with good taste that run Nota Bene, (Prague’s leading restaurant which combines fine dining and the best Czech beers), Beer Point is a great place to try some excellent Czech beer. Proudly a Kocour pub, Beer Point always has at least one of their 6 taps occupied by the Varnsdorf brewery. The other 5 taps are rotated between equally impressive brewers such as Matuska and Uneticky.
Beer Point continues Nota Bene’s much appreciated completely non-smoking environment. To go along with your beer, Beer Point has a cold kitchen, serving typical Czech beer snacks, such as pickled Romadur cheese, Hungarian klobasa, and beef tartar steak. Even though the menu is small, these are the same high quality, delicious snacks which are served in Nota Bene upstairs. The interior is that of a traditional beer drinking cellar, but more modern and brand new. Service is pleasant and friendly. Prices are also fair, especially when considering the quality of beer, and location.
The entrance is just next to Nota Bene. Continue down the hallway to the end, and you’ll see a set of steps to your left. Centrally located in Prague 2, take the C (red) line or trams 10, 16, 4, 22, or 6 to I.P Pavlova.
