As the surge of interest in burgers continues to transform restaurants, Dish Fine Burger and Bistro adds another dimension Prague’s ever improving burger scene.
This modern, trendy Vinohrady restaurant has Prague’s most diverse, unique, and refined burger menu, plus quality lager to do their burgers justice- Uneticky’s unfiltered 10° and 12°, on tap.
The fresh smell of beef grilling fills the air in this smallish, simply decorated restaurant. When you enter, you’ll immediately notice to your right an open kitchen, where chefs masterfully prepare your burger- a nice touch, and something that is still rare, or confined only to the most expensive restaurants in Prague. Their menu not only has what it takes to satisfy those who prefer a traditional burger, (try the Dish burger, with homemade ketchup, aioli, cheddar, and bacon), but some unique twists on this American classic- from the Olomouc and porto, which uses the Czech Republic’s premier smelly little gem of a cheese from the Olomouc region, to an Italian influenced Trattoria, a nicely stacked burger with arugula, fontina and parmesan cheeses, plus bacon chips.
If beer isn’t your drink of choice, the serve a few customized cocktails, including a Dish Negroni and a Bloody Smokey, plus a good wine list. They also have Maisel’s Weisse nonalcoholic beer in bottles.
Service is professional, and burgers served quickly. Anyone with an interest in a good burger can be found here- from middle aged Czechs, expats, young families with kids, and older couples, so consider making reservations in advance. Take any tram (22, 10, 16, or 4) or the green line to Namesti Miru, and Dish is just a few minutes on foot to Rimska street.
