If your taste buds have been exhausted by lagers, consider trying Belgian ales at the Belgian Beer Klub. In the basement of Los v Oslu is the Belgian Beer Klub, a pub specializing in Belgian ales with an impressive variety to choose from. On tap, there’s always Kasteel Rouge, Kwak, Hoegaarden, and Stella Artois, as well as one guest beer which rotates weekly. They also have a large menu of bottled Belgian beers, chilled and ready to drink.
The menu, which consists of typical continental European meats and pastas dishes, is the same in both the Belgian Beer Klub and Los v Oslu. Other than the mussels, their menu oddly doesn’t reflect cuisine typical in Belgium, or for that matter Norway. The food is also a bit more expensive, and frankly quite boring. Service is friendly, and this pub gets quite full during the week- making a reservation is a good idea. Located on Perunova street in Vinohrady, take trams 10 or 16 to the stop Perunova, or the A line to Jiřího z Poděbrad.
