There isn’t a pub in Prague that does such a fantastic job of making you feel like you’re drinking in a cozy living room as this one. Na Sumave has three great beers from the Sumava region on tap. Two taps always have beer from the Dudak brewery; one tap has Klosterman Polotmavy Lezak 12° (5.1%), a second always has Kral Sumavy Svetly Lezak 13° (5.5%). The third tap changes, featuring a different beer from the Sumava region.
Na Sumave is an excellent place to visit to get a taste of this beautiful, mountainous area in the south-western part of the Czech Republic. They sell all sorts of things from the Sumava area: dried mushrooms, floral decorations, hand painted ceramics, bottled beer, glass beer mugs, hand-made teddy bears, and other crafts. All the crafts are hand-made by local Sumava artists. There’s also a large selections of Czech wines. If you want to visit the Sumavas, have a look at the various brochures about tourism in the Sumavas- they have information about everything from accommodation to maps of the bike paths.
The service is warm and friendly. If you’re hungry, they have quite a few beer snacks, and also some Sumava specialities. Frequented by beer enthusiasts and local Sumava fans, this is a quiet spot among the tree lined streets of Vinohrady. An excellent place to enjoy a great beer and plan a trip to one of the most beautiful areas of the Czech Republic.
