Listed as one of the best Pilsner Urquell pubs in Prague, Smíchovský Radniční Sklípek serves not only fresh, fantastic Pilsner, but also some serious Czech cuisine. Offering a huge menu with at least 3 different sorts of rizek (schnitzel), goulash, pork cooked every way possible, ribs, chicken wings, and for the extremely hungry, a few ‘XXL’ dishes, it’s safe to say everyone will find something here. Their ‘tankovna’ Pilsner is expertly tapped and always served tasting cold and fresh.
With classic Czech service, you won’t become thirsty waiting for your next beer. The staff here are friendly, quick, and real beer professionals. Pleasantly decorated with Czech antiques, Pilsner memorabilia, and cozy wooden tables, there is a friendly, rustic atmosphere here, almost like you’ve been invited into someone’s kitchen.
In Smíchovský Radniční Sklípek, you’ll find all sorts of people enjoying their golden lager: locals, older folk, and young tourists. Even though this is a large pub, it’s a good idea to make a reservation, especially for Thursday and Friday nights. We’ve noticed their website and email aren’t working, so the best way to contact them is by phone.
Take the B metro line to Andel, and then walk about 5 minutes to Preslova, or take trams 4, 7, 10, 16 to tram stop Zborovska.
