This is a classic medieval Czech restaurant with quality food, good beer, and fair prices. U Mikuláse Dačického is the kind of restaurant to go to for a more formal dinner (that is, without the ‘formal’ prices), dates, or a special occasion.

The spacious interior is full of heavy dark wood and wall paintings, giving it a genuine medieval atmosphere. The service is formal and friendly. This is a place to go if you want to experience a medieval restaurant, eat hearty Czech cuisine, try a new Czech beer, and not pay outrageous prices, which could easily happen in the center of Prague.  They serve typical Czech and continental European cuisine, and beer from the Kutna Hora brewery Dačicky. 
Reservations are recommended, especially for weekends.
