Just behind Klášterní Šenk is Břevnovský Klašter Pivovar, brewer of the highly acclaimed Benedict Pivo. Originally 300 years old, this newly renovated brewery not only produces beer, but has a nice little beer shop selling all of Benedict’s fantastic beers.
Bottled and chilled, they normally have for sale: Břevnovský Benedict Imperial Pilsner 20° (our favorite and a must), světlý ležák (light lager), tmavý ležák (dark lager), pšeničné pivo (wheat beer), Imperial Stout 21°, and their IPA. You’ll not only get a glance of a authentic Czech micro-brewery in action, but be guaranteed quality, fresh beers directly from the source.
Open Monday thru Friday, 14-18, walk directly in through the restaurant and out through the side, and you’ll see the brewery in front of you.
